Organisers: Pomorska Koalicja na Rzecz Zdrowia Psychicznego (Pomeranian Coalition for Mental Health) and Stowarzyszenie Na Drodze Ekspresji; under the patronage of the Rzecznik Praw Obywatelskich (Polish Commissioner for Human Rights).
In 2026, the opening takes place on 6 September in Sopot (Festyn Tolerancji and Marsz #poGodność), followed by a conference at the University of Gdańsk and a self-help forum in Gdynia.

When is the Polish National Depression Awareness Day (Ogólnopolski Dzień Walki z Depresją)?▼
The Polish National Depression Awareness Day (Ogólnopolski Dzień Walki z Depresją) takes place on 23 February. It was established by the Minister of Health in 2001.
When is World Suicide Prevention Day?▼
World Suicide Prevention Day takes place every year on 10 September. The observance is run by the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP). If you are thinking of ending your life or are worried about someone close to you, call 116 123 or 800 70 2222 (both numbers are open around the clock), and in a life-threatening situation call 112.

We check conference dates on the organiser's website. If we know a date only from another source, we mark it as provisional. Events that have already taken place disappear from the list automatically, and those with no announced date are gathered in a separate section.
Are the observances in the calendar officially established?▼
Some are: several days were established by the UN General Assembly (for these we give the resolution number), and the Polish National Depression Awareness Day (Ogólnopolski Dzień Walki z Depresją) by the Minister of Health. Others are run by international organisations, such as the WHO, the IASP or Alzheimer's Disease International. We give the source for each entry.
